ENROLLMENT
To simplify the process for families and providers, Kids Collective participates in the Reno County Community Waitlist — a shared system designed to connect families with available child care openings across the county.

RATES
Abundant Life Childcare

Infant (2 weeks - 12 months): $165 per week

Toddlers (12 months - 2 1/2 years): $150 per week

Preschool Full Time 2 1/2 - 6 years): $150 per week

Enrollment Fee: $100 (used to purchase supplies)

Deposit: A two-week deposit is required at enrollment, based on the child’s tuition rate. This ensures families maintain a $200 credit balance on their account.

Site Director: Heather Hoover
Heather Hoover, originally from Kinsley, Kansas, is the Site Director at Abundant Life Child Care Center. She moved to Hutchinson in 2001 to attend Hutchinson Community College and began her career at Abundant Life in December 2012 as a classroom teacher. Heather transitioned to administration in 2015, earned her Director’s license in 2017, and became Site Director in 2024.
Heather loves the impact she has on developing young minds and building meaningful connections with families. She lives in Hutchinson with her husband Kurtis and three children: Kallen (8), Kashton (5), and Breckyn (2).

Site Director: Cherish Kelley
Cherish Kelley, a native of Inman, Kansas, is the Site Director for Buhler Beginnings and Crusader Corner. With over a decade of experience in childcare, Cherish began as an aide in an infant room and worked her way up to lead teacher. She later served as Director of Shining Stars for five years before transitioning to her current role, driven by her passion for addressing the childcare needs in the community.
Cherish loves watching children grow and reach milestones, like taking their first steps or mastering new skills. She resides in Buhler with her husband, Chris, their two children, Oliver (14) and Parker (11), and their pets —one dog and three spoiled indoor cats.

Site Director: Sara Riggs
Sara, originally from Newark, Delaware, grew up in Buhler, Kansas, where she still calls home. She began her childcare career in 2023 at Abundant Life Child Care and Preschool, bringing with her years of leadership experience in customer service and management. After serving as Assistant Director for over a year, Sara stepped into the role of Center Director with Kids Collective in September 2025.
She’s passionate about creating joyful, nurturing spaces where children can grow, learn, and discover something new each day. Outside of work, Sara loves spending time with her three energetic boys—ages 11, 6, and 20 months.
